Years ago I was able to obtain a film about the Poor Clares at Roswell. It was black and white and fairly old at that time. We played it after Mass and had many, many people stay and watch.

The most touching part of the whole thing was watching one elderly lady sit and watch it over and over. She was watching her own daughter. That daughter later headed one of Roswell's foundations.

Have any of you ever seen or heard of this film?

I don't have it. we rented it from somewhere but I don't know where. It was an old film that we showed on an old projector. I was hoping someone knew of it and where it could be obtained.

Vocation video of the Dominican Nuns of Summit, NJ (30min)
http://www.catholic.org/video/?v=186
From all eternity, God calls some women to be consecrated entirely to Him. The religious vocation is a reflection of the vocation of Mary, to whom God sent the Angel Gabriel seeking her consent to be the Mother of the Incarnate Word. A contemplative nun is called to live in very great intimacy with Jesus. She is called to be a spouse and mother: a spouse of ...

Investiture Ceremony from 'The Nun's Story'
http://www.gloria.tv/?media=25481
"This is a clip from the 1958 Movie, "The Nun's Story" starring Audrey Hepburn as a young woman named Gabriel Vandermal who becomes Sr. Luke of a fictional French Women's Order. The movie, as you shall is stunningly beautiful and the liturgical scenes are carefully done."

Beloved: The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia (2:49 new DVD trailer)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDcC5NaKnAY...feature=related
The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, commonly known as the Nashville Dominicans, continue to expand into new territory with a message of hope that the springtime of the New Evangelization is indeed in bloom. For almost 150 years, in the heart of the Bible Belt in Tennessee, the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia have embraced God's love in the living of their vows and apostolic vocation in the field of education. Now, with a median age of 36, the 235 Dominican Sisters of this congregation bring generations of young people the message of Christ in over 30 schools, throughout the United States and Australia.

Like the virgin martyr Cecilia, Nashville Dominicans promise their hearts to Christ. The Lords voice fills their ears and secures their promise to be Christs alone. Nashville Dominicans show the world a love that is different and unique. It is a love that is eternal. Nashville Dominicans are indeed beloved by God, as you will witness in this documentary. You will be taken inside a religious congregation that continues to offer the world and the Church a compelling model of religious life that is beautiful, hopeful, joyful and alive. Here's a vocations video for the Sisters of Notre Dame, California province:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcIw_aALxyQ

The Covington province, of which I am a part, is going to put up its own vocations video on Youtube, but it's not made yet. What would you all suggest for what we should put in our video??

Peace,
Anne, PND

There was the conversion and vocation story of a Norwegian Dominican nun on the last episode of The Journey Home. I highly recommend it (the first half)!
