At my college there's a freshmen girl from France that is having a very hard time. She doesn't speak english very well and some people have made fun of her for it. It's come to a point where she doesn't speak at all because of her embarassment and doesn't really want to reach out and make new friends with people. Going to school in a foreign country is hard enough and this makes it way worse.
