Please Help, Is This A Sin?

I have a question about if something is a sin. So is using God's name like this considered a sin:

1. Using his name accidently in your marriage bed?

2. Using his name accidently when something crazy happens, like saying "Oh my GOD!"?

3. Saying I swear to GOD about something?



Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks!

Any time you take the Lord's name in vain it is, in the very least, a venial sin. In the instances described above, I would not say that it is a moral sin b/c the required deliberation of the intellect does not seem to be present. If it's something that you just blurt out instinctively without really thinking, that cannot qualify as a mortal sin. However, you should still try as hard as you can to remove that habit from your speech, and ask forgiveness for it in prayer or in the Sacrament of Confession.
