okay... so i hate obama as much as the next guy... but children singing are off limits because it's been used by bad people? Kim Jong Il's government forces the singing; these are children of volunteers who support the man's campaign. if there were a bunch of kids singing for McCain... after we all got over the shock of the juxtaposition since McCain's campaign is a lame duck and children represent energy and excitemeny, no one would be bothered. they're campaign songs sung by children of obama supporters... i have no problem letting kids sing campaign songs. the point is that obama smells of elderberries, not that children singing makes you a fascist or a commie... obama's got enough credentials to be a commie on his own.

now, if songs like this start replacing the pledge of allegience in schools accross america, I will eat my words and apologize to all of you whistle-blowers who caught the early signs of it ;)
Thank you.

The songs sound too much like gospel music for me to agree with you. The children, and the other I posted of the adults are giving too much praise close to if not worship to one man, that's what makes it creepy that's what makes it wrong.

gospel music is now inherently worship? eh... i might buy it for our culture... a bit...

if they started using gregorian chant over him I'd be worried. gospel-style-sounding music can also just be feel good worldly hopeful music.

The use of Gregorian chant would be even more creepy. Frankly if you see it or not it, there is something very wrong with these praise Obama songs. The do sound like Christian Gospel music one would hear in a baptist prayer service on Sunday morning, but where the name Jesus Christ should be there is Obama.

No, you're too self righteous to agree with him. It would mean admitting that you aren't always right. God forbid.

Do not try falsehoods on me pal, here on phatmass I've many times admitted being wrong about a subject and apologized. That is part of my principles, but which also includes defending what I believe to be right and fight hard for what I believe to be right.

Point is I can and have admitted being wrong before more than once, but at the same time I'm not a wee pansy pushover. It's called being a man of principles, if people don't like that tough.
