It was a prediction for October 7th 2008 on a site called web-bot which is a site that links all the "chatter" of all the other sites about future events up.
Alrighty, thanks!

Need to work on my reading comprehension, too.

Now, with extra paying attention...!

I found the sites which discuss what your husband's associates are talking about, and it's utter nonsense. You might be able to use web crawlers to predict emergent memes or marketing trends, but not the stuff the bot-net folks claim, like weather and political events.

People could make an argument for issues with the US dollar from, oh, all the actual stuff happening! But not through some kind of automated web search thingy.

(And, FYI to the rest of you... the real bot-nets are malicious, distributed viruses that get installed on insecure Windows computers. They're reasonably intelligent and defend themselves very well. Be very careful what you click on when searching around, if you decide to do so. Probably best to not search much at all -- they've been known to shut down legitimate researchers with Denial-of-Service attacks.)

More seriously thought. Perhaps the economic crisis has some good to it. It lets us take a step back and look...What should I really invest in. Money? Stock Market? Bonds etc etc.

OR

Do I invest my time, body, spirit and intellect in to material things? Or spiritual things. Do I invest in family, friends and people? In the church with your time, and prayer?

Whats more important? We have witnessed the ulitimate end to material things recenetly.
What?

Never heard of it. I actually haven't heard of many people making runs at their banks. People told us that we were doomed at Y2K, too.
the big-wigs call recent occurences a "walk on the banks"... because a lot of people went and pulled out anything they had over 100,000 recently; meaning obviously that you and I probably don't know anyone who was part of the "walk on the bank" but it was still significant enough to be bothersome to the banks.

The way that's worded, I thought you were talking about the children of your sister-in-law.

I'm not sure a depression would be a horrible thing for this country. Well...I mean, look at the generation that came out of the 20's and 30's - some of the most industrious and frugal people that we've ever seen. Maybe what the dummies nowadays need is to have a rude awakening and an unpleasant awakening...:idontknow:

I re-read it and it did sound that way. :biglol: No other comment there! You know I would say that you are right to a certain extent. The reality is though, the circumstances are so vastly different now then they were "socially", for people back then. Is this not what drives markets? The way people think and feel? Lets face it,our society's past generations were moral,harder-working and self reliant and less self centered in general. We will watch a whole new satan emerge if suzy don't get her fat free latte' everyday and her nails not done on Tuesday. Would this be good for her,?????? YOU BET! would it make life tougher on all of us??? Yes,most definatly. Think about of the implications??? Like Palin said, learn from past mistakes and never let them happen again. We should all prepare our lives and our hearts for Christ.
