Incredible, isn't it? I'd been watching those numbers at Real Clear and shaking my head. You'd think that after selecting Palin, and seeing that he was regaining his party base again and also jumping in the polls, McCain would realize that this conservatism thing goes over with middle America pretty well, and keep that up.

But instead McCain figured that he pacified the whining conservatives and got his headlines and it's back to business as usual. The man who claims that he never would announce a withdrawal in a conflict announced that he is pulling out of Michigan: a major battleground state. He kicked Palin to curb; he's finished with the conservative message, and he is done with the libertarian-minded running mate.

He got right to work on socializing the economy, he announced that he would be working closely with Al Gore, and even Rush Limbaugh stated that he would have trouble proving that McCain isn't conspiring with the far-left to deliberately throw the election to Obama.

wow.

I'm stunned.

Perhapse Palin got "kicked to the curb" because she cannot answer basic policy questions and McCain wanted her to end on the "high note" of the debate.

As long as the economy struggles, it will bode well for Obama. Rarely does the incumbent party in the White House do well in elections when the economy is uncertain and it's what average Americans are most concerned about. Call me Captain Obvious, I guess.

ETA: not that I'm going to vote for him. My conscience would not stand for it.

Unless McCain is able to make the Freddie Mac and Frannie Links stick to Obama which caused this current crisis. McCain is making that argument, but it has not seen much news coverage. It may have to wait till McCain brings it up in the debate tomorrow, for it to receive coverage in the Media. As for now the Media is letting it slide. In the debate tomorrow McCain has got to present to America the differences between himself, and Obama. The Character of a man is important, what do we know of Obama's?

You brought up another interesting point -- Obama's been the media's darling from the get go. Being that I live in Europe, I hear magical tales of travelers returning from the New World about this Man with the Seal. I heard he's the Chosen One. He walks on water and parts the sea, and he'll fix everything. Is this true?

:bigshock:

He certainly has been babied by the Media. They give him pass after pass....

Some seem to believe Obama is some type of divine savior.

From some stupid knockoff t-shirts you believe this? :topsy: I would never where one of those shirts.

Shirts or not, which is nothing but some lame attempt to divert the issues of Obama links to corruption in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, as well as being associated with unrepentant terrorist.

Suffering from short memory lost? We've discussed this, Fox is one network of ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, and the AP, all of which claim to be unbiased, when clearly their not.

According to the msm, it's shockingly true.

And I see things in the news about Europe being enamored of Obama. It's true and they really do love him, eh?

No, it's because McCain is not a conservative, and naming Palin as a running mate was nothing more than an insincere headline grab, and an attempt to pacify the base.
