It also has to be taken into account the randomness factor of abortion. It's not like a yearly procedure everyone has to do. Perhaps less people wanted, maybe the birth rates were lower, pre-birth care improved, contraceptions more effective, ect...

Many differing variabilities to keep in consideration.

Good question. I just looked it up, and it was approved by the FDA in 2000.

to be expected in the decline of ANY statistic, it will slow down its decline as it gets lower. that's why most graphs like that will become a curve (see above ^)

Pro-life education has gone strong all along educating people (especially youth) on the medical facts of abortion.

Also....lots of women with their tubes tied these days.
