duh i know hitler was white bro....
Then how exactly is it racist to compare Obama who denies the personhood and supports the genocide of the unborn to Hitler who also denied the personhood and supported the genocide of the Jews?

I'm just not seeing the racism in that at all, since Hitler was white, how can it be racist to compare Obama actions to his actions when those actions are eerily similar.
but y werent these titles being thrown on hillary or bill ?
y arent they being thrown on them now ?
their right there supporting obama, what about biden ?
When Bill and Hill ran the similar arguments where made against them. But here's the thing their not running now Obama is, and Biden is also likened to Hilter's evil, because both support the genocide of a group of people who have been denied personhood.
i think alot of the heat obama is takeing and the degree of it is because of his race.
and mabey he deserves the heat, because he isnt getting it from hardly anywhere else.
i would just hate to see an extremeist take it to far.
Well your wrong. Obama is getting alot of heat because his polices and positions are absolutely counter to Christian Teaching and Traditional Americanism.

i saw him at a speach today talking about how he is catholic ?
whats up with that ?
does he recieve communion ?
Biden is a little out there... promising that if Obama is elected the world will test him and we will have a international crisis.

I think he does receive, of course he should not.

fair enough i respect your stance.
what im saying may have to do with race, is that, he's getting these hatefull titles thrown at him so aggresivly. it seems as if he was white he would recieve more grace and patience from people.
mabey not, its just my opinon.

Actually, I think if he was white he would receive more heat. Because some people are afraid to give him heat because if they do they will be falsely labeled a racist. The AP tried to make the argument that Sara Palin was racist by noting the links between Obama and Ayers the unrepentant 60's terrorist. Dems have also charged that showing the links between Obama and Fannie Mae chairman and CEO Franklin Raines, is racist.

You can suspect that people's (negative) opinion of Obama has something to do with race, but no one can suspect that Powell's endorsement had anything to do with race?

i never said it didnt have anything to do with race.
i said i didnt know.
its obvious the select few who say really hatefull things about obama are doing it because of race.
not talking about phatmass people, before socrates aims some shots at me :smokey:

There's enough to despise about Obama - his militant pro-abortion stances, his long-term association with anti-American radicals and terrorists, his lack of any actual achievement or leadership experience, his extreme leftism - that his race has nothing to do with it.

I think it's because of Obama's race that he gets away with so much. If Obama were white (rather than just half white), I think he'd be largely rejected as a serious candidate.
Everyone's so enamored of the idea of a First Black President that they're willing to overlook a multitude of sins that would politically destroy anyone else.
thank you!

a very good reason! Obama is very socialistic!

pax~
Wait. I thought the overriding reason to vote against Obama was because he's pro-choice.

McCain is terrible, TERRIBLE. He represents four more years of the absolute trainwreck that has been the last eight years. He has kicked anything he ever stood for to the curb in pursuit of power. He has no new ideas or solutions for the problems we face in the 21st century. And whatever about her positions on social issues, the thought of Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency causes me to shudder, literally.

This conversation isn't about Obama, really. It's about whether McCain offers a positive vision of the way forward. He doesn't. The best he's got is that Obama "pals around with terrorists" and the tired, tired line that Obama's a tax-and-spend liberal, as opposed, of course, to a borrow-and-spend "conservative." No thanks. Write In, thy name is Ron Paul.
