(I'm kinda at the 'acceptance' stage of him winning), then some of his supporters will have increased faith in him. Clearly, many Democrats will use the "Bush's fault. Jesus_lol Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 well, if it turns out that Obama screws everything up like Bush then i think it will be the same way. from a canadians perspective it seems as if america as a whole(and phatmass in general) has only recently, in the past year or two, realized how truly incompetent Bush is and are turning against him. even for the people who still support bush, it used to be "he is a good president for X reason" and now it is "well, at least he is better than John Kerry" it will be the same way if Obama screws up. you guys will hate him from the start and eventually the left wing will come to the same conclusions. it took two long terms of George W Bush for the two side to start seeing eye to eye. fo the record i believe Obama will do a better job in general at running the country, even if he is running it in the wrong direction Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I write all my husband's speeches, and 95% of his newspaper articles. He gets the byline, and I get to spend the money. The last article for the Edmonton Journal bought me a new yo-yo.
