saintwannabe 777 Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 As a young catholic charismatic, I have realized that my young generation is suffering. It is suffering from the pain of feeling so isolated, of being surrounded by attachment to this world. Yet, Jesus has some great things in store for my generation. He is calling all us young people to sainthood, He is calling all of us to a deeper and intense relationship with Him, His holy Mother, and all of Heaven. I want young people to realize that Jesus loves them. That this is not just a fruity or touchy-feely statement, but that Yeshua, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, wants youth to start the revolution and to prepare the way before Him. We are living in interesting times and there is a sense of urgency. Although, I believe that no one knows when the return of Our King is, I believe our generation will see many signs and wonders. The Lord is looking to raise up saints and heros to witness to the world, what can we do , to get more youth to believe in themselves. All my friends are starting to ask me to pray over them and to intercede for them and I know that I am a mortal, I can only do so much, but what can we do to show young people who Jesus really is? It is often when worldly people feel depressed about life or something bad happens that they seek God. Would you seek God when you are happy and you are having a great life?
