Father Writes Of His Nun-daughters

I had my first encounter with the SSVM when I was in Toronto this past summer. I didn't recognise their habits, so I went to their table (we were at a restaurant - I was on my way out and they had just sat down) and asked them what order they were. They were a very lovely group of ladies, both young and younger ( ;) ) and told me a bit about their group and told me to look them up.
They all had thick accents so it was hard to understand them...I believe they may have been Argentinian (which would make sense, considering the origins of the order).

I keep forgetting to mention the two CFR brothers from Australia. They are twins!

The other was invested in his habit recently. :)

Thanks for posting this -- beautiful article! I know both of those sisters and they are absolutely wonderful -- and now missioned in Italy teaching at a university. :)

In addition, there are also many sets of siblings in the Franciscans of the Immaculate. :D
