It's been a while since I updated. As many of you know, I have been accepted to enter the Candidacy this July. This is my last week at work although I will keep up my volunteer commitments as long as possible. My mom took my kitty home with her and honestly, I'm often in tears missing her. Talk about being attached.
On Sunday (yes SuperBowl Sunday) I'm flying to California for a longer visit. I'll be helping out with the Concert and finalizing entrance details. I'll be in touch occasionally while I'm out there (2-3 weeks) as I'll have to do some things on-line.
Please keep me in your prayers as you are all in mine. We serve such a gracious God!

Hi, I love the Church, my family, music and working in health care. I'm in the process of discerning a vocation with the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. I'm hoping to tell my folks at Christmas and then apply for the Candidacy.Good to be with you sisters and brothers.
A little update.It's Advent and I've moved into a new stage of discernment. Working with the community on entrance qpplication. Have reduced work schedule to three 10- hour days a week and am letting go of responsibilities. Signed a three month lease increase for my apartment and so will move and leave job in May.
My parents know about and support me in following a religious vocation. I will tell my sibs over Christmas.
