Hello! I have been discerning the Priesthood and religious life for two years, but I am unsure as there is this girl I really like, and I think God may be calling me to marriage instead.

I am a huge history buff, my interests mainly being Medieval warfare and ancient warfare (Meaning Greeks and Romans mostly from the time of Rome's birth to its depressing fall), but I think my favorite history is Church history. I love learning about the history of the Saints, ecumenical councils, the Crusades, and all that good stuff.

I like to crack jokes a lot and I never get tired of hearing my humor. I also like to hug people a lot so if we ever meet keep that in mind. I am very physically and emotionally affectionate, and I probably lean on the sensitive side (Though my feelings are not hurt very easily). I am over 80% or more German, and the rest is Irish, Russian, French, Scottish, and even a small bit of Cherokee, though that percentage is quite insignificant. I have a crazy fascination with Ireland and Irish history, as well as the amazing Irish band U2. I also seem to have a crazy fascination with Germany.

I am a very extroverted person. I love talking to people, meeting people, bonding with people, and just doing things with people in general. Everything from games to prayer are made better for me when there are people doing these things with me. I am told I am fun to be around, as I am somewhat of a free spirit. I have no problem making a fool of myself, so when walking at the mall it would not be strange to see me singing and dancing in front of people, even if there is no music being played. I love making a fool of myself, and I just love laughter and making people laugh in general.

I love running and playing sports. I have just recently gotten into running and I am loving every bit of it, but I also love football, baseball, swimming, and working out so long as no weight lifting is involved. I have done karate since I was four years old. I am a brown belt and I am running a class with my father, where we are teaching traditional Okinawan karate.

I pretty much love school in general. Science (Excluding most chemistry), math, English, history, religion, social studies, and pretty much every other subject I love. I have been told that I am intelligent (Though I have my doubts), so it only makes sense that I love these subjects more than hands-on labor, though I am not afraid to work and get dirty and I do enjoy some jobs that are physical.

I think my ultimate passion is singing. I am a tenor and my voice range using chest and head voice goes from C3 to A5, and my falsetto goes from middle C to almost two more octaves, meaning I nearly have a triple octave range. I love singing no matter how many hours in a day I've been at it. My brother-in-law is my singing teacher since he is so good himself and has had three years of lessons, and he's teaching me so many amazing things and I am becoming so much better. I'm unsure of what my official vocal style is, but I can sing a range of things from jazz, classical, Gregorian chant, and even some pop music like One Direction when I just want to have fun and mess around. I sound best when singing Michael Buble and Josh Groban songs, though, so I guess that gives you an idea of what my voice is really made for.

I am currently studying to get my GED and I would appreciate your prayers to help me get it. I plan on doing the SAT's and entering Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. I'm not sure what I am going to major in, but I have some ideas and I am thinking hard about it. Some prayers for that would be nice as well. I am thinking about becoming a high school history teacher, but I am unsure because I also love a mix of other things. I love a range of other majors like theatre and dance, philosophy, theology, psychology, and science, but I am starting to narrow my list of majors down some.

Though it has been noted by a Franciscan Friar that I am very mature for my age I still have shortcomings in this area and try to work on this every day. Again, your prayers are welcome. I am striving to become a Saint and worthy future spouse, and your prayers to aid me in that are very welcome.
