Handmaid for the Lord

I am a graduate student with Catholic Distance Univeristy in the Diocese of Cheyenne. I have been in discernment for consecrated life now for over 15 years. After offering myself as a spiritual martyr for my diocese, I was preparing after my trip to World Youth Day 2008 to give my private vows to my Bishop and mentor in Oct of 2008. During our second day in Australia we found out that our Bishop, my spiritual father, was sent to Green Bay. We miss him horribly, I miss him so much. I look with great joy and hope at what our beloved Holy Father has in store for us. I pray for a young holy viberant bishop who supports consecrated life for women. Our diocese as an extreme poverty for the authentic presence for consecrated life of women. We are the Church frontier. As I have a natural grounding in Franciscan spirituality, my heart bleeds for the poverty of my people, for even though it has been difficult, I know I can never leave my people.

I have come here to PhatMass through the suggestion of a friend for support and prayer during my continued discernment. God Bless everyone and you are all in my prayers.
