(Although they're actually hoping that in three years I will grow out of the "phase"). So I'll take my time...looking forward to growing in love and discerning slowly... (We're living about 3,000 miles apart right now, so we've had to resort to phone conversations, which aren't the easiest way to communicate [especially since I'm not a huge phone person to begin with]). And one of the very positive fruits of our conversation is that he thinks it best that we continue our current relationship right now, despite the distance and hindrance of having to do it by phone... I've been rather anxious about it, since I'm living here more permanently and before I left he said that I should be on the look out for a new director. But for now, he says we should keep things as they are. That takes a lot of anxiety way! Woot! (For some reason the thought of changing directors absolutely terrifies me... I think part of the reason is simply that I haven't met anyone out here that I feel like I could trust, for various reasons. But even the thought of opening up anew with someone is scary.) Actually, someone at work had apparently mentioned the show to her and asked if I was going to watch it (she's gone and told [i]everyone[/i] about my discernment). She said she didn't know but that she wasn't going to tell me about it! Well, at least she recognizes that this isn't a stage or something. I still wish I could've watched it anywho. But she's more supportive than a lot of people. My grandma will help, at least a bit. You know you can find the DSMME Oprah show on youtube.
