Could one of these newly invested friars be our VS johnnydigit? If so -- :yahoo: :congrats:

May God and Our Lady bless these young friars in their continued discernment!

PAX,
is there any proper email to get hold of the FI's vocation director? a friend has filled out those website online email forms, and emailed with 2 direct addresses from 2 of the Friars websites, with no response. They just have some simple questions,(he is over 40, wants to know if they take older vocations, and if all Friars must be going on wild missions to Africa,Phillipines every 3 years. etc etc.). and would like to speak with a Vocations Director.
2.and i am wondering if anyone knows if they have any Canadian Brothers?
thanks.

I love these friars! There is a small group building a friary near my current college town in Indiana. They already have a lovely chapel and run a neat little retreat center that's in the country side about 10 minutes from town. I love to go to their holy hour and Mass on Saturdays.

@EJames I don't think all the friars are going on wild missions to Africa and the like, not if they are in Indiana, but if you like I could ask them how to get in contact with a Vocation Director. I've been trying to get a reason to talk to them since I am not a man.

" The day of prayer ends at night with the penance known as ‘discipline’ just before sleep is taken."

Ok, so I can't figure out how to embed the video but it is funny.

Edited to add:

If you want more videos of the friars and some of their talks and homilies you can go to AirMaria. The Indiana Friars post their videos under Mother of the Redeemer Farm.

Also, they led a procession on the IU campus this semester and the year before.

Here is a video of the procession from last year:

PAX,
i notice the Friars have some videos/promotions to/of "THE(odd title not using 'OUR') Lady of All Nations" in Amsterdam, but the Vatican has rejected the Prayer to Our lady of All Nations, and that it not be used, yet they still print this prayer and distribute it on prayer cards. Also this 'apparition' requests we no longer call Our Blessed Mother, 'Mary' but
"who once was Mary" THE Lady of All Nations... seems in request for apparitions approval the Church has constantly rejected it....so, why do these good orthodox Friars, involve themselves and their websites with this controversy and extremism, especially the Lady of All nations alleged visionary, Ida Peerdeman, and her connection with the heretical/suppressed 'Army of Mary' in Canada ???perhaps its only because of the co-redemptrix doctrine promotion which they are involved in??

I thought the condemned Army of Mary and the Lady of all Nations were something separate. Anyway, I looked it up and found a few articles that clarify this by Dr. Mark Miravalle. He is featured on the FI site a lot in different videos and everything.
