Pax_et bonum

Fr. David Mary (Franciscan Brothers Minor) got a hold of my friend's camera. The result:

To make up for my obsession with that community: The Order of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary

These Cistercians (O.Cist., NOT O.C.S.O.) will mostly be moving on to other "Common Observance" Cistercian abbeys very soon. Spring Bank Abbey is closing down. Directly related to the end of LaserMonks, run by the Spring Bank Abbey.

Yeah, I saw their ink business went kaput. Wow, there is only 2 other O.Cist monasteries that I know of in the US. I wonder if any of them are going to other countries.

The Cistercians (O.Cist) are doing quite well. They get new people all the time. The school has always done well and the three that are professors at my school are not going anywhere.

Edit to add that the Cistercians I speak of are in Texas

I didn't mean any of the other two Abbeys going to other countries I was talking about the Spring Bank monks.
I doubt any of the Spring Bank Monks would go to the Our Lady of Dallas Abbey, those monks are all about education. I don't know too much much about the Our Lady of Fatima but I think they run a parish.
