I think I already posted this pic, but it's quite possibly my most favourite one ever.

Pax and God bless.

These Sisters are not in communion with the Church, unfortunately. They belong to CMRI. The Sisters of Our Lady, Mother of the Church and the Sisters of Our Mother of Divine Grace broke off and rejoined the Church. The CMRI, however, is still in schism. They are called sedevacantists.

I contacted these lovely Sisters earlier in my discernment. I believe these are the Carmelite nuns in San Antonio. Sr. Corinne is their VD and she was very sweet. We talked on the phone. I realized pretty quickly that I was not called there and ultimately believe I am not called to Carmel, but she helped me a lot. If I could enter any Carmel in the world, it would be either the one in Denmark, WI or Buffalo, NY as the prioresses were especially nice and I fell in love with both of the monasteries. :)

Benedictine nuns of the Annunciation Monastery.

Very old photo. I am under the impression that they no longer wear habits, or even a veil for that matter.

I wonder if with the updated habit they still wear the scapular at times, and if so, do they vary the colour like they do with the traditional habit? I was fascinated when I read about that, why couldn't God have called me to a more colourful order???:saint:

I'm happy with white. I could never be a pink sister, I just do not like pink or a Redemptorist because I look awful in red. lol I could go for an order that wears black as black is quite slimming. lol I like the SSVM habits, but I have a thing for long veils and traditional habits. Oh, anyone know where the pic of the flying SSVM came from? I can't did te thread and therefore can't find the website.

I think I had posted that one! It was from the beatification, I believe... I'll try to find it again!
