I posted this link ages ago and nobody could identify these sisters in this old article. Anybody recognize them. I think the pink veils are lovely. Somebody said once there was some sisters who had lemon coloured veils. Did I remember rightly?

I could wish for a veil in no other colour than black (eventually). I think its symbolism of dying to the world is so meaningful that, for me, no colour (even pink!) could beat it.

I'm actually developing a real fondness for the traditional Benedictine habit of black and white - so I was happy to see that Rosalind Moss ended up in one of those too! :) When she and I went shopping for habit fabric, we debated forever but when I held the black up to me, I just said, this is so 'nun' and she agreed and bought the black material. Now she finally has occasion to use it! I love all the different colours of course, but there is just something so nun about the good old b&w of the 'penguins'! :P

Mary's Margaret

GraceUK The Servants of St. Agatha and Venerable Zelie Martin wear a white tunic and pink scapular and veil. Their apostolate is to care for those with breast cancer and their families. I couldn't find much about them, but what is online sounds like they're a new community. Hope this helps. I found the information here: http://cloisters.tripod.com/stagatha/

Any habit with Marian blue is a win for me  I also don't mind the Dominican habit. There is something about it.

I guess that's part of the Dominication. hahaha

If I could choose a community based on colour alone, I would definately choose one with a pink habit :cheer:

Me, too. I think it would be very cheerful to wear pink every day.

The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters wear pink because it is a lighter (feminine) color of the traditional color of the Holy Spirit, red. They said pink is also a color of joy, and aarrr aarrr their founder said they couldn't adore the Blessed Sacrament wearin' black or some other morose color.
