Hello all,

I joined this ‘Phorum’ mainly because of this thread! I absolutely love habits, both for men and women religious.

Hello! Welcome! :) I joined this Phorum mainly because of the nice people who are excited to talk about nuns and monks. I don't really care about habits, but I do love men and women religious.

Another group of "Pink" sisters, also Roman Catholic. I believe they are based entirely in the Philippines.

Thanks for the welcome Marigold! I hope to contribute a lot of good info. to the Phorum. And while I do love habits . . . I know that the work that religious priests, brothers and sisters do is what really matters. Religious are invaluable to the life and future of the Universal Church.

:nun2: PS: I love this emoticon!

Thank you sharing these photos. I especially enjoyed the face of the little boy in the picture where the Dominican sister is juggling. Does anyone know where the monastery of Carthusian Nuns in the photo is located? Thanks, again.
