They are related:
As a further development of the charism, the family of the Heralds of the Gospel gave rise to two societies of apostolic life. Virgo Flos Carmeli the priestly branch of the Heralds was born in 2005 with the ordinations of the first 15 priests, including the founder of the Heralds of the Gospel. Regina Virginum the Feminine Branch was born later on Christmas of the same year. Both societies received papal approval in 2009, becoming a clerical society of apostolic life of pontifical right and a feminine society of apostolic life of pontifical right, respectively.

Thank you, otherwise that habit would have been bordering on plagiarism :)

Women AND Men in habits --- and all from one family!

"All of +Bro. Boniface's siblings had entered religious life. Five were Discalced Carmelite Friars, two were Dominican Friars (one eventually a bishop) and three Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine de Ricci. The picture shows Bro. Boniface's ...family on the occasion of his brother Louis' ordination to the episcopacy. When they were presented to Pope John XXIII he exclaimed, "ONE MAMMA?!?!" Yes, your Holiness, one mamma."

(From the Western Province of Discalced Carmelite Father's Facebook page, July 2010)

I know. They posted it on the OCD Friars' website when Bro. Boniface passed away. Thought you all would love it!

WOOOOOOOOWWWW.

You know there is a family hot on his trail, I think they are part of TB's order, I saw a short clip on them and it is beautiful to see... I think it's something like 4 of the girls are sisters and 5 of the boys are at diff. stages of the priesthood one being ordained already.

Is this sister from that new Benedictine Community?

No, she's the Sister that addressed Pope Benedict at World Youth Day during his session with young religious. Give me a minute and I'll figure out her order.

I can't find the thread that talks about it at the moment, but I'll look later.

That's really razzle dazzle, but when I saw them all I could think about was The Wizard of Oz. :P
