What community is she from? Such a joy-filled picture -- I love it!

No idea! The website didn't say, it's just a general site of nun pictures. I'm guessing Marian of some kind.
She does just look so happy doesn't she! It looks like it's snowing or maybe just raining but there's this wonderful sense of rejoicing in God's creation.

Most interesting veils I've seen! These are Sisters of the Most Holy Soul of Christ.

[size=5][sub]I agree -- that is a very unusual headress! wonder if that couldn't have been 'baseball cap day' or something...[/sub]
[sub]On second viewing... two of them have a green 'crown' - maybe it is something formal worn in Church, or in Poland or something?[/sub]

[sub]or maybe an earlier version of modified headgear (check out the pictures of their foundress)....[/sub][/size]

[sub][size=5]All the other pictures on that website look like this... [/size] [url="http://www.sistersofthemostholysoulofchrist.com/index.html"]http://www.sistersof....com/index.html[/url][/sub]

Maybe it was their solemn profession or something. I've seen pictures before of sisters with flower crowns on their solemn profession day.

I'd guess the unusual habit is an old one that has since been modified. It looks very unwieldy so perhaps it was modified to be more wearable.

Couldn't see the photo above the Sisters of Mary,Mother of the Church.Another group of CMRI sisters are in the Diocese of Saginaw ,Michigan. They too reconciled with the church are are called Sisters of Our Mother of Grace.
Yes, the Sisters of the Most holy Soul of Christ do have an unusual headress.

2012 profession of Sr Elizabeth Burgess. She made her solemn (life) vows as a nun and received the
Consecration of Virgins at St Cecilia’s Abbey, Ryde,Isle of Wight,UK... a cloistered community of Benedictine nuns of
the Solesmes Congregation.

I love that picture of Sr Elizabeth, she looks so beautiful and happy.
One day it'll be my solemn profession and I'll be behind that very same grille.

I love this habit, it's so simple but so striking.

wow... looks like it includes a tilma as part of the habit.... what a great idea for a community dedicated (obviously!) to our Lady of Guadalupe!
