I used to have a library but when I started discerning, a few books I kept went to my first convent, and then I didn't take anything with me except my breviaries when I left (too heavy to carry around the world, especially as the cost to ship is way too high). Now when I read a book, I give it to a library. I do the same with DVDs I buy since I never really want to watch a movie more than once. I can't take any of these things with me as I am only allowed something like 22kgs of baggage on a flight and my three volume breviary set and Bible are heavy enough!
