CatherineM, sweet of you to post on topic .... Had thought of starting a new thread sans pirates :hijack: and with "trousseau" spelled correctly... :spike:
If you would like, I could correct the spelling in the title for you. :) (Super mod powers and all that. :hehe2:)

Wow, MissScrip, you rock and reign! Sure, if you please - thanks

I think Miss CatherineM is either a world traveler ( :bobby: :pigsfly: :turban: :biker: :arabia: :knight: :french:) or a millenialist - who else could be so completely prepared for EVERYTHING ? ? ?

Here's my windup flashlight (may be a little too raz for the mon but all I could find in three stores and it'll probably end up in the "depo" anyway, after I don't need it anymore) - it has a handle that pops out on the bottom/back for winding it up, makes just a small whirring noise

I'm not a survivalist. I just lived through a couple of decades worth of hurricane seasons.

If you need to adjust for more socks, lace ups are best.

These are the ones that our 4 foot tall Filipino nun wears with her habit in winter.

Can these be worn in the snow? what kind are they?

:hehe2: Now I'm picturing a whole array of stern-looking, pocket-knife wielding nuns!
Oh my goodness, this reminded me of how a few weeks ago, Sr. Mary Christine and I where putting away creams, diapers, etc. and I was having trouble opening one of the boxes. She reaches into her pocket, the pocket that you usually don't see because it is over their "chest" and it is where they keep their written out vows... but she pulls out a pocket knife... I started laughing very hard but then said, "Sister, um what if that ever snapped open, it would go right into your heart!" She just giggled and said she should probably move it to her other pocket in the front of her habit... :hehe:
