:idontknow: I would just hope I'd be discerned enough not to need to go there. If that's the future Order for me...

Just remember to trust in the Lord. If the order thinks you need more time, then that's the Lord's will. Just like I am having to learn patience from waiting for Mother to respond to my follow-up email. God wants me to learn this, so I trust Him. :)

Lovely video. What's the name of the song? I don't think I've heard it before

Even though it ends with Sr Luke leaving the convent, my favorite film is the Nun's Story because of the acting and the detail about the life. I would love to see In This House of Breded redone as I found the production values not as good as the Nun's Story (although the acting was just as good). I like the movies that deal with the actual life itself and would love to see some more done but usually the only people who write books about convent life are those who have left! It would great to have a wonderful novel, turned into a movie, about someone who enters and stays... for example, Mother Dolores Hart of Regina Laudis Abbey, but not to focus on her early life as an actress except as background, and then to go into detail about her life as a postulant, novice, sister and then Prioress!!! What a wonderful story that would make - and great movie - someone should suggest to her community!!!!!
