Do the Lockports have a website?

No. They had a xanga where they were posting pics of Sr. Marjorie. Hopefully they made out a little better than New Orleans. I heard that Thibodaux and Houma suffered the wind, but not flooding, and Lockport is kind of over by those cities. There is literally no communication.

I really hope that Karin, Sr. Marjorie and the other two nuns are okay.

Those are pics of Sister Marjories entrance to the postulancy, earlier this year. There are two nuns, Mother Mary Valerie, and Sr. Mary Imelda. They are the ones Jessicas hoping to enter next week (as you can tell lol) Also, Karin is having her aspirancy with them til Thanksgiving.....

I am also really hoping and praying that four of them are ok!!!!!

I'm worried about them. I would assume that they headed to Lufkin. I wanted to get in touch with them to offer them a place to stay close to me, because I'm on the way to Lufkin, but someone said they weren't reachable. We have to pray for them!

Hi Gals,

I called the Dominicans at the Monastery of the Infant Jesus in Lufkin this morning. Sister said that they called Lockport (a few days ago?) and asked them if they'd like to come stay at their monastery here in TX during the storm. Lockport said No, and they have not been able to contact them since.

Ave Maria, gratia plena....

Totus tuus,
Lauren
