:) I keep wanting to post pictures so, I thought I'd start a thread and we could all share some cool pictures :)

That is a link to the photos taken for the article written about the Poor Clare Colettine Nuns that was in the Diocean paper. I just love them all :)

Just share whatever picture you have or want to share! I'd love to see any that you all have! Especially those of you who are soon to be entering! That would be simply wonderful! ^_^

Okies! Heres the Dominican Monastery in Lockport, although I've never visited it:

And here are the three Sisters:

Sr Mary Imelda, Sr Marjorie, and Mother Mary Valerie

Heres the Poor Clare Monastery I'm interested in:

I hope this image thing works......OK, its not letting me post them. If I pop them up one my xanga, would that be ok? or I could send them to people if they're interested....

Great thread idea, Angela. And I LOVE those pictures! I think it's so cool that they don't wear shoes. I'm not a fan of shoes, so I think that's awesome ^_^

What about when it's really cold? Don't they run the risk of sickness without shoes, though?

What is the picture of in 28? Is she receiving Holy Communion? Why don't they use the altar rail?

I think the altar rail is used if needed... I knw that normally that Monsignor doesn't come out from behind it, so it is possiable to use then, but I'm not entirely sure...

And the shoe thing, its all part of the poverty embraced. Lady Poverty is quite lovely.

Those pictures are AWESOME. I don't remember seeing them on the site. Isn't is amazingly beautiful to see monks (is that what the Carmelite brothers are called?) wearing the full habit? I think it's awesome.

FATHER FABIAN IS AMAZING!

I'm gonna e-mail him and ask him where he found those pics of St Elias and St Albet and the S.H. of Jesus.
