I mainly like the actors--not even so much the characters. I'll give it a few more episodes. But I'm truly on the fence about it. And, to be totally honest, I'm just killing time until LOST returns to Wednesdays on ABC!!!!

I have a problem with supporting a show when its promos glorify sexual promiscuity.

I don't care what it glorifies, the first ep was so freaking awful top to bottom it can only get worse... the first is supposed to be the best you have to offer.

Never again.

The only way I would watch this show again would be with a group of friends to laugh at how terrible it is.

[i]discussion[/i] is not offensive. but media that glorifies promiscuity and disordered sexuality is a one of the most blatant attacks on our culture today. for those of us, like myself, who work in Hollywood, there is nothing funny about this. and it is threads that show [i]support[/i] for these shows, movies, etc. that bother many people on Phatmass who enjoy sharing their Catholic faith and not being attacked for standing up for morality, even when it's not popular.

additionally, many people on here seem to forget this fact: these are [u]public[/u] boards. if you want to IM a friend and talk about how great a trashy show is then that is private business.

ps - if anyone desires to moderate and censor this post for hijacking the thread, remember it is merely a [u]reply[/u]. the thread was already hijacked.

pps - why even bring up this debate again when it's obvious no one even likes this show?

So, the new tactic on phatmass is you can Hijack a thread and sink it by debating...sweet. Maybe instead of the Guilds we can just go around and sink 50 page threads? Im glad they just edited Papa out of the filioque hijack rather than sink that one.

you're right. interesting tactic that cmom used here by hijacking this thread with references to the GA one that was just closed. if you want to ask her why she's trying to sink this, you really need to do it in a private message. questioning mods isn't appropriate for the public boards, rev.

see, proper exegesis of the rev's quote whould show in reference to the GA thread that was closed, since this one was not. Thus, the hijacking is not related to this thread, but rather in proper to the GA thread. Furthermore, the reference to the slander on the filioque thread shows that the rev was not refering to Cmom.

remember last year when they had the 2 hour GA and it was actually a 1 hour GA mixed with a 1 hr PP? It was horrible. I really like Red, but not as a led character. I liked the chemistry she had with Alex.

Yea, it was horrible! I wish people would stop watching it so she would go back to GA. That would be sweeeet. And then Alex wouldn't be alone. Poor Alex.
