Maybe it's because I haven't been paying much attention to the Debate Table and Election sections of the phorum lately, but I don't see a huge decline in behavior. Maybe a little, but definately not to the extent that some have observed.

I can say this though, this place is definately much friendlier than many other forums I browse/post on.

I would agree with Pal on that one. It is much friendlier now then it was back at the same time in 2004, at least to the amount I have seen just lurking over the past 24 hours. And it is way nicer then some other places, even when it is "mean." You should see some of the Mac vs PC vs Linux threads I have seen/taken part in. Only thing more silly is X360/PS3. Those get mean about dumb things and are mean all of the time, PM at least has divisions and people are generally nice to each other here and don't troll.

I have posted in friendlier forums before, but they had a much smaller number of people, so that may have something to do with it. I've also posted on much nastier forums before. It was scary there, I didn't stay long!
