Yeah, PolyCARP...it just reminds me of fish

Japanese koi fish are a type of carp, and they are some of the most beautiful fish in the world. If we locate the Phatmass Phemale Community in a temperate area, perhaps we can have a koi pond as part of our monastery gardens.

I cant have the name Theresa Marie anymore.

One of our new novices took it.

:console:

How about:

- Marie Therese or Therese Marie
- Maria Theresa or Theresa Maria (nice rhyming, right? :hehe: )
- Mary Theresa

:idontknow:

Ooo! Or the Italian form of "Clare" -- Chiara! Teresa Chiara?

But then again, if one were to take the French form of "Therese", then I'd want the French form "Claire" to go with it.

The nerve!!!

Well, maybe she'll leave before you're clothed. No, that is not mean. I want the novice to find fulfillment in whatever God's will is for her--I wish her only happiness. It's just that it would be more convenient for JTeresa if the novice found that her vocation was elsewhere.

Warning to JTeresa: Just because she took "your" name, does not give you an excuse to make the novice's life a living hades with the goal of having her leave. So, nix that plan, if you had ever considered it.

Sister Teresa of Avila :D
(Because I have great devotion to her)

or

Sister John of the Cross :))
(because I've read a lot of his writings and in my own personal way can relate to what he has written)

Still very much love both names

I really like Theresa Clare
And Lucia Theresa

and mixing Anthony and Theresa is a great idea!!! I love it!!!

Sr. Anthony Therese....
OR
Sr. Theresa Antonia

hmm... :scratchhead:

Oh well, I've got a while to think about it.

If I become a Dominican tertiary, I hope to use my two favorite Dominican saints for my name in consecration:

Catherine Rose, O.P.

I can't just choose one because, to me, they go together, especially since St. Catherine was St. Rose's inspiration to become a Dominican tertiary and she practiced the same penances. :)

LadyOfSorrows

I've always loved our Lady under the title of the Mystical Rose...

I've always wondered about becoming Sr. Rosa Mystica.

But, if not, I love Sr. Veronica Maria of the Divine Face of Jesus. I want to constantly be comforting Our Lord :)

Sr. Therese Grace of Jesus

Sr. Rachel Elizabeth of the Holy Face

or

Sr. Elizabeth Grace of Jesus :nun2:

And to continue the Visitation talk, I found this beautiful picture for my new avatar.
