Paddington
Woot! Phillies! And, for the record, I've been on the bandwagon ever since I heard they were in the playoffs.

Paladin D
Wow, it's pouring in Philly and it keeps raining harder as each inning goes by. So far it's in the bottom of the 5th. Around 40 degrees, 15-20 mph winds, and light rain (but picking up). Wonder when will they issue a rain delay? They are saying the field holds and drains the water very well, it's sand based. The head grounds keeper went out to inspect, and said that the field should hold it all till the end of the game. They're calling for about 1/10th an inch of rain per hour I believe. Score is currently Phillies 2 - Rays 1. Edited October 28, 2008 by Paladin D
Paladin D
The local cable company is really getting on my nerves, all the channels flicker severly for about 5 minutes at a time, on and off. Can't call them, not in this small rural area of Virginia, because they're all asleep and could care less about the World Series. The more I live here, the more I hate rural Virginia. Paladin D
The game has been suspended until tomorrow at 8pm EST, where they will resume the bottom of the 6th inning. This is the first World Series game to be suspended due to rain conditions in MLB history.
