Four young women formally started postulancy with the Salesians last month in Bellflower, CA, and five entered the Little Sisters of the Poor over All Saints Day. They have gathered in Washington, D.C.

(If anyone has questions aboaut joining them, just send a PM and we'll happily give you a hand!)

All Saints' Day is a beautiful day for an entrance. May God bless the postulants, you, and all your sisters, Littlesister - not to mention your residents! :)

I visited with the Little Sisters many moons ago... they always seemed so peaceful to me. Congratulations on the new vocations!

Philosobrat : Congratulations, Sister Mary Novice! Can't say that we "know them", but we happened to be at the parish that Sunday so at least we met them. Great Day all around!

The Little Sisters had a welcoming Mass in DC for their new postulants yesterday. Here's the picture:

I have met that sister (the professed one). I cannot remember her name - I think it was "Camille" but she was just the warmest, loveliest person - she just GLOWS with the love of Christ.

But then all of the little sisters I have met have been like that. They are such a super order, one of my favorites of the "actives." I always wish they lived closer, so I could volunteer. It would be lovely just to be around them.
