Fides_et_Ratio
I found Ludwig Ott's "Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma" for $15.75, and also Ratzinger's (now Pope Benedict XVI's) "Gospel, Catechesis, Catechism: Sidelights on the Catechism of the Catholic Church" for under $10. Yay! Both should arrive sometime next week. I am building up quite a library of Catholic resources.

SarahB
I've recently bought a few of Pope Benedict XVI's books, and I'm trying to build up a library of sorts. I already have one, but I don't have quite as many books about the Faith as I would like to. Does anyone have any suggestions?
peach_cube
Any book sales, public libraries sometimes have them. I have found many gems at them. If it is a large one it will have a bag sale at the end and you can really clean house. You can at least find some Merton, Newan, Sheen, and C. S. Lewis. I've never heard of Aidan Nichols and Thomas Dubay. The others I've heard of and have always wanted to read their books, I've just never gotten around to it. I also like Karl Keating and Scott Hahn. They helped greatly in bringing me back to the Faith.
Fides_et_Ratio
yeah, Keating and Hahn are great apologetically speaking. Peter Kreeft is also awesome... his "Handbook of Christian Apologetics" is top notch. Thomas Dubay mostly writes on prayer and spiritual direction. Very deep. Aidan Nichols is much like Pope Benedict XVI, very conservative, VERY scholarly, etc. His books are thoroughly researched and very heavy (information-wise). Apotheoun
Ah yes TAN books, they published good old Catholic books. Although the quality of the binding isn't the best. A friend of mine used to call TAN books, "Loose-Leaf Publishing," because every book he ever bought from them fell apart.

goldenchild17
I've been trying to build a library of my own. It ain't bad for one with no steady income. But I'm always willling to take old books from anybody who doesn't want em any more.
