Hi,

I am interviewing a fashion model turned role model. I am hoping you can help me out with some of the questions. If you were able to ask this person any question about chastity, modesty, fashion, and makeup what would you ask?

Thanks for your help!

Bernadette

Well...

Hm.

The fashion industry is so much beyond my scope of reference that I don't know where to start.

I'd ask what her modesty standards are and how she managed to uphold them.

I would wonder if she ever did anything that she would be afraid to show her future children. Did she ever feel pressured to do something she was uncomfortable with? If so, did she give in, or does she have any suggestions to other girls/women on how to avoid the pressure? Did she have trouble getting her agent to understand what her boundaries were, or finding an agent that would work within her boundaries?

I guess I would just ask about being a Catholic model. If it's possible, and how she maintained her standards for modesty. But every one else had already said that....

She use to be a fashion model until she realized what that was doing to her Faith. She is now a motivational speaker for young people, speaking wherever she can about chastity and modesty. She does, on occasions I believe, model modest clothes for the Pure Fashion program and possibly for other people, too.
Thanks for your help so far!

My question is if a model can keep it modest, stays away from everything unethical, and does not partake in the party lifestyle that goes with modelling, is a modelling career still at odds with being a good Catholic (e.g. because it encourages vanity)?

Does she condemn mainstream catwalk and print (vs specialist 'modest' or purity') modelling?
What does she think of Catholic models like Noelia Garcia?

Edit for sp errors! lol
