Watching Ron Paul Youtube videos has really brought my spirits up. After realizing both candidates were pretty wishy-washy, it was easy to accept the Obama outcome. To lift your spirits and see some reasons why we should at least hope this man's political philosophies guide the country in the future, I present to you some nice video links.

What's surreal is watching the videos from the primary debates. They were talking for hours about stuff that really is irrelevant now.

I really wish he would've pursued some third party ticket. I would've loved to support him and a lot of us GOPeeps who were dissatisfied with McCain.

For us realists, I'm currently trying to decide if I want to vote for Palin or Bobby Jindal in the primaries for 2012.

I don't know much about Jindal but I can't say I equate Palin in 2012 with "realism." Her political future isn't dead depending on how she plays her cards, but that would be way too soon for her at this point in time.

four years away is not the time to start dismissing options as "unrealistic" (within reason, I mean, anyone on the national political scene now ought to be given due consideration as someone you'd like to see run but obviously don't go saying you hope the pope runs for president next time or something lol)

Ron Paul is an idealist. Wonderful. I would have been so happy if no money had been approved for Ike relief in my area. The run volume in our city more than doubled. Where would the OT have come from, if not the Fed? Reality, not a nice idea, is what really runs the country.

I was never under the impression that Paul was a strict isolationist. I agreed with him about the Iraq war. But I've gotten in one debate with someone about that already and too lazy to get into another one, at least this week.
