It does show off the thighs... Almost looks as if she's wearing tights with a very short sweater dress... Just saying... picchick
I don't like tight stuff just because I find them uncomfortable. They tend to ride up too. I like fitted things that show figures off. I often find that tight clothing reveals things I don't want people to see. zunshynn
In case anyone is interested in registering for this site, by the way, it's kind of cool, you can build up points on it, like for commenting on the outfits posted (they also have a monthly contest where users upload their own outfits and they can be voted on--and voting is another way to get points) and then once you get so many, you can get different gift cards to places like Modcloth, Macy's, Urban Outfitters, Starbucks, Itunes, Walmart and Target (among others). 25$ gift cards are 5000 points, and 50$ gift cards are 10,000 points, approximately... and you pick which gift card you want. Just by logging in each day gets you 25 points. Pretty cool! A long shirt or sweater helps, but like someone else said, sometimes you might as well be wearing tights if your jeans are really close-fitting... Some people (including adult women in my neighborhood!) have an idea that leggings+ a top that is long enough to cover a little past your rear end = clothes. I think this =trauma land.
That's the biggest fad in Toronto. Long shirts + opaque leggings (sometimes not so opaque). How do they not feel naked?

zunshynn
leggings aren't popular in CA that I've noticed. Dresses that look like skirts are though. Nasty.

Thomist-in-Training
God forbid that women have thighs!
... I had a conversation a few years ago with a friend that sums up my feeling on this topic. Friend: "I don't think so-and-so has been as attracted to me since he saw me in a bathing suit. Must be my THIGHS!" Me: (playfully) Well, just goes to show, you should save your thighs for marriage!
