I gave it a "rating" because I thought it might show that the tightness of the pants is 1. not a very big problem, and 2. the only thing i saw wrong with the outfit. If my fiancee were wearing them, I wouldn't ask her to change most likely, but if she asked for my opinion, I'd tell her that yes, they are too tight.
I don't think he thinks that they are not tight. I think he was more O.o at the idea that you were giving precise measurements as to how loose or baggy things should be. Which would be easy to see as scrupulous. This is because we've had debates on this phorum where people WERE being scrupulous about the amount of inches of skin clothes should cover on a female. That's all. Not that those pants are necessarily modest or immodest. Just that measurements tend be a little too precise. If that makes sense. TradMom
+Praised be Jesus Christ! I looked through the website. I would not want to see my daughters (or myself) dressed in these clothes. Personally, I find the skirts too short and the pants too tight. Unnecessary. For clarification, however, in our house we do dress "modestly" but also with dignity. Our kids wear sweats and jeans - when appropriate - but never leggings (one of our daughters had a modern dance class and she wore them for the class but of course changed). The little ones (girls) would wear leggings in the cold under dresses for warmth and I guess maybe one still does (who is a little older). However...not alone or with boots. We don't look like the Duggars or the Amish, but there are limits. We shop online a lot (from regular stores) and if anybody is interested or wants link, pm me. Pax!
I didn't even think about the huge scars on my right knee until I wore a skirt that came just barely above the knee when I was teaching. Some of the students freaked out a little. Even more when I told them I have the scars because I have a screw in my leg.
Lilllabettt
Just above the knee is okay, I think. I've got a couple dresses that fall there. But if you click on "dressy outfits," you'll see most of the stuff there falls way above the knee. Maybe its just because the models are tall? If I saw a lady wearing these clothes, I wouldn't think "wow, a loose woman." But I wouldn't have an impression of modesty either. I would assume they were a part of mainstream culture where "bearing skin" is concerned.

I was looking at the warm weather outfits because I assumed they would be the 'trickiest' to make modest. You know what I mean.
TradMom
+Praised Be Jesus Christ! Not so much about the knees, although with girls (even teens!) - they do tend to be active, so personally, I encourage my girls to stay away from skirts/dresses that hamper movement and make them self-conscious about their bodies. (Going to an afternoon tea - as if! - would be another story, because we would all be nicely arranged around a table, acting like ladies and gentlemen and there would be no worries!!!) In some cases, loose sweats or pants can be more modest than dresses/skirts. Personally, I am just not a fan of the clothes on that website, but that is just my opinion, and in my house, they would not be considered modest. Pax! TradMom here is a website link (I like everything except the one with boots...I like longer skirts with boots - personal opinion only!) - http://www.jjill.com/jjillonline/prodnav/viewall.aspx?pfid=17&BID=S200931415380856CC1944440C4E83942504&h=M&sk=M
