I never said you didn't. I said "may not."
Tight pants will get the same kind of attention as a low cut shirt, but tight pants will probably not get the same kind of attention if the woman is wearing a long shirt or sweater with them, like the young woman in the picture is wearing. My "evidence" is my own wardrobe. I do have tight pants but I wear long tops with them. Then again, men tend to leer at me when I am stopped at a traffic light as well as when I am dressed in casual, shapeless clothing so I suppose my "evidence" is moot and they could care less what I am wearing.
So because it probably won't get the same kind of attention as a low cut shirt, and therefore, because of the probably, it is now acceptable? My opinions may differ from yours, but it is not unfounded, so please don't treat it as though it is outrageous and irrational. You addressed only a piece of that thought, and that piece was not meant to stand on its own.
I addressed a certain part of that complete thought that made an important distinction between something being possible and something being a matter of fact. Regardless of if it was meant to stand on its own, it was certainly not a point of semantics. Note: This next sentence is not directed towards modesty or anything else in this thread and is only being used as an example: There is a big distinction between something that might not be sinful and something that is not sinful.
And where was I being disrespectful?
Looking back I don't see anything blatantly disrespectful. My apologies. Maybe I just read into it, but as you have said yourself, your posts can often have a belligerent tone. I think the "thank you very much" that you added to one of your comments is what set me off. Obviously you were not thanking me very much for my remarks, so it could have been the sarcasm that I felt was disrespectful.
