Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Quick update:

I never thought I would be glad to say, "My husband has Hodgkin's lymphoma," but preliminary results from the biopsy yesterday are indicating that's what we're dealing with. He'll still have to go through several months of treatment, but Hodgkin's has a very high rate of survival, well over 80 percent even in more advanced cases. We are still in the process of testing to determine what stage we're at, but so far all signs are pointing toward Hodgkin's.

Thanks to all you PM friends who have been praying. We most assuredly appreciate the prayers and support. I'll keep you posted as we learn more. :)

I am so happy to hear that Terra. My dad (OLAMDad) experienced a miracle with a cancerous tumor after he asked everyone to pray for the intercession of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, so I will be keeping your husband in mind with that same intention.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place into Your Hands, wounded out of love for us, all those I know and love who are ill, injured or in need of Your healing touch in any way. I remember those who are at home and those in hospitals and nursing homes, those who are recovering slowly, those who are lonely or afraid. Be with them all, most loving Jesus, especially those for whom I now pray: The husband of Terrafirma, herself, and family.

Lord Jesus, please send Your Mother Mary to be with them in their time of need. May she who knew life's sorrow and pain in her own heart, console them with the joy of her Immaculate Heart now reigning with You in heaven.

In Your wisdom, Lord, increase in them Your gifts of Faith in Your Church, Hope in Everlasting Life, and Love both forgiving and peace-giving. If it is Your will, restore them to fullness of health and strength. And bring all of us home at last together with Mary and all Your Saints.

Amen.

Praying for a swift recovery and peace for you all as you deal with this...it could be much worse, and I'm glad to hear it's not.

Our Lady of Victories, pray for us!

Oh Terra, so glad to hear this! Of course not glad for his illness, but as a former oncology nurse, I treated many with this condition and once it gets under control most people find it quite manageable. I will continue to pray for God's miraculous Hand to be upon you and your family during this time.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen!

Deo gratias!!
