Please pray for one of my students. His dad is in jail for drug and gun charges. It was a drug raid so it was all over the news. Also my sister's elementary student needs prayer as well. Her father committed murder and is locked up as well. These are only a few stories but there are really so many kids hurting from an absence of a parent. Pray for us teachers to find words of comfort and wisdom during these difficult times when our students look to us sometimes for understanding and answers. Also, please pray for a nearby Catholic school who has suffered through two very difficult times with a high school senior passing before Christmas time and most recently a middle school math teacher who passed away in a fire. They are a small school and everyone is family there.
