No, you can't force anyone to accept anything. But does that justify encouraging folks to use contraception "just in case," which is what you seem to be implying.

BTW, what about people who have homosexual attractions? If it is unreasonable to expect people to remain abstinent in general, is it not also unreasonable to expect them to remain abstinent with those of the same sex, if that's their preference? And if not people with same-sex attractions, what about people who desire sexual relations with close relatives, animals, children...? Why should we expect them to refrain if people are so beholden to their temptations?
