Indwelling Trinity
My Dear Friends: I am doing something that i would never thought i would ever do, at the instructions of my prioress. For some time now the lord has been leading me to found a semi-eremitical cloistered Carmelite community with unity, and mercy in the Carmelite tradition as its goal. The life of the sisters is to be that of Our lord's from the cradle to the cross offering ourselves in complete immolation to him in order that ALL may be brought to His divine Mercy as revealed to Saint Faustina. This is to be accomplished according to the Carmelite tradition. Our life our prayer and our sacrifices will be for ALL but especially for priests and religious. We embrace Divine Mercy as revealed by our Lord's Incarnation and passion for our salvation and unity as we all share in some measure of the Trinitarian life of the God who dwells with in us, of which one day we will share in full. I now have 5 vocations plus a possible two others and not enough space to put this growing little community. There is a Hermitage property for sale that would fit the needs of the community perfectly and would house twelve to begin with. The community would be open to both younger and older vocations, some who have been broken by experiences in other Carmels and other communities. This will be a Carmel for little souls unlike our big sisters so strong in virtue we will be His little ones of no account to the world but will be rich in love for him and souls. I have begged as a Missionary of Charity for the poor I served but have never begged for myself but now under obedience I beg for you prayers and help in establishing this community. This causes no small amount of shame and confusion for me but now as not only as a foundress but also a Mother who must look out for these little souls, I now openly beg your prayers and help. We will be called "The Carmelite Sisters of Bethlehem." for we like our poor infant savior born in a humble manger seek to imitate His life in a lifelong journey of love to the point of giving his supreme sacrifice of life for others. We wish to follow in His foot steps knowing that it is possible only if we remain little in Him. Even if you can only utter a small prayer to Our Mother of Carmel and Divine Mercy I know Jesus will in some way provide for these women and myself who so long to give our selves to Him in Love for others. Until these sisters have undergone their novitiate we will not be fully in a position to support ourselves for first and foremost they must have a sound foundation in religious life and the ways of love. It is so hard for me to beg in an economy where so may are struggling even in my own family. I am not immune to that and that is why this is so hard for me, but if this be Gods work for the salvation of souls then let us each do what we can in love with the gifts god had given each of us. I must first train the sisters and have a place before we can be fully self sustaining and so I humbly with confidence in Gods mercy and the blessings of Holy Obedience ask for your prayers and help. Yes doing this brings real tears to my eyes and assaults my more than imperfect ego. But with resoluteness of heart i go forward trusting in his love. He must become more and more and i must become less and less. In St. Faustina's Divine mercy message which the church approves, Jesus tells us this is the time for mercy before the time of judgment comes. We only wish to bring all to that overflowing mercy. We cannot wait for tomorrow to do the good we can do today for tomorrow may never come. Let us make haste in Love. Please help us to begin this good work. Finally, know what ever may come, the sisters and I hold each of you and all whom you love gently in our hearts and in our prayer and sacrifices for you and you loved one. God Bless you for what ever prayer and help you may be able to give. Know always that no matter what He holds you in the palm of Hid hands!
