Thy Geekdom Come
First quarter, yes. Whole first half, no. The Saints were just getting warmed up. Plus... who won?
...by a lot! Sorry, people can try to rationalize their team picks all they want, but the Saints won, they're the champions, and for this year, that makes them the better team. Anyone who tries to say they just got lucky or something sounds silly. Luck is irrational and doesn't factor into the game (although probability does, to an extent). Don't insult the Saints or Louisiana by implying that the Saints never could have won by skill and only luck could have done it. That's just rude. They won, fair and square. goldenchild17
Sean Payton won the game with his calls I think. Kicking the field goal at the end of the first half instead of going on 4th would have given Manning too much time to score. And of course the onside kick. I do think Indy would've possibly won if those two things hadn't happened. kudos to him for having the kahonas to do it. The INT didn't help anything either, didn't expect that of Manning. I thought the Saints were a little overrated going into this but good job Edited February 8, 2010 by goldenchild17
dominicansoul
Oh, I was rooting for the Saints, and I didn't mean to imply anything... the better team won, but they looked like they were gonna get beat in the first half. Colts were the better team in the first half...
