Two People Who Are Spiritually Hurt

There were two people from another site who posted how hurt they were. One of them was cruelly treated by a pastor and therefore is bitter towards Christianity and another has suffered the loss of an aunt who was very religious and claims that if there really were a God that her life would have been saved. These two deep down may really be antagonistic in regards to the Lord and one of them demanded that they didn't want to be prayed for. The remind me of St. Augustine who would tell his mother St. Monica to stop praying for his conversion, but don't we all know how that turned out?
