IgnatiusofLoyola
I won't be going to any Holy Week services--not out of choice. I'm virtually housebound due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a few other things, so it's tough to make it to services. I can't function physically much before noon, although Holy Week offers a larger selection of services. But, even if I can get to services, I can't sit in a pew for even an hour. I could ask for a wheelchair--but it's SO hard for me to humble myself and ask for help. And, I look perfectly normal, so a casual observer would wonder why I needed a wheelchair. In the very near future, I'm going to have to face the reality that I'm going to need help just getting things done around the House. I have virtually no personal support, and my father and sister are not speaking to me--for no rational reasons except I think they just don't want to think about me. My mother does call me every week--Bless her. I'm in the middle of applying for Social Security disability--another humbling process, with no guarantees that I will be accepted. I need to move (and leave my Sisters across the street) for financial reasons, but have no energy to pack, much less move. So many things to pray for--Ideally healing, but if not that, to better emotionally deal with all the things I have to do. As you could tell from my overreaction last night, I've been rejected A LOT through all this--it's very tough. But, Christ had it much worse--I haven't been nailed to a cross. I know that all of you have your own problems in your lives, but if you can find a minute or two to pray for me, I'd appreciate it. I'll sing the services to myself from home using, well, that prayer book that you don't approve of. LOL I hope God is merciful and listens anyway. Thank-you.
