Old_Joe
He was a priest for the Diocese of Lincoln, NE. He was killed after he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree on the way home from the State Penitentiary where he served as the chaplain. On a personal note, I had one of the funniest and most memorable confession moments with him. After confessing my sins, he replied, "That's it? I'm a chaplain for the state penitentiary. I hear the confessions of murderers and rapists!" In the back of my head, I was thinking, "Sorry Father. I'll try harder next time." Of course, his point was that I'm not the worst sinner in the world.
