Is This Actually At Steubenville?

I came across this video on a blog, and although it says that it was taken at Steubenville, and it was uploaded on March 25th of this year... most of the people in it don't look college age, so I'm wondering if it actually is or if someone is only saying that it is to discredit the school?

LOL! That's the FUS field house where they have summer conferences, FOPS and many Masses. Everything in that video was commonplace when I was at FUS.

Well, the age of the ppl in some part of that video makes me think it was from a summer conference, maybe the charismatic conference.

Edit: I missed it the first time but the beginning of the video indicates that it is the charismatic conference from back in 2006. There are a number of FUS big wigs in that video too btw.

Wow... I knew they had some issues... but wow. Just wow.

Wow.

Yeah, definitely a good idea to visit before signing up. You can go to school there and just avoid all that stuff (best to go to Mass off campus), but if I had it to do over again I'd probably just pick a school with a more traditional culture.

While I was at FUS I attended some of the most reverent liturgies of my life as a Catholic. I loved the little Ruthenian parish of St. Mary in Weirton WV. :D

I thought you said Mr. Ed, then I saw that you said Fr. Ed. :weep:

I attended a total of five liturgies on campus during the two and a half years that I was at FUS, and two of those campus liturgies were Ruthenian liturgies held in the rather ugly school chapel.

You drove all the way to West Virginia for Mass?

Yes. A caravan of about 6 to 12 students (most from the appropriately named "Trinity East" dorm) went to St. Mary's Ruthenian Church in Weirton for the liturgy of St. John Chrysostom every week. It was a difficult ten minute drive. :D
