No. I fail to see how this helps your argument though.

Well, the Mosaic law has not been repealed, for all I know. It seems that if Jews, their Judaism defined in great part by their adherence to the Mosaic law, are not, in fact, adhering to the dictates of the Mosaic law, they're pretty poor Jews, aren't they?

I suppose, although plenty of Orthodox Jews want to be faithful to the Torah as they see it. I'm not sure how the evolution of Rabanic Judaism has changed the relationship with the Mosaic law.

Well, you can evaluate their view of Judaism with historical understanding of Judaism and see how it compares or contrasts. In cases of many Jewish denominations I believe they have official bodies that make pronouncements on particular matters.

Official bodies that make pronouncements that apply to and are morally binding upon all Jews?

No.

I don't see how you are going to use this to refute my criticisms of HCF's methodology in demonstrating causality.

And I saw the wall post (I can't respond because of my status) and I understand completely :)

Well, I'm arguing against the idea that one could object to someone saying "Those [insert group of people here] are all like that," when it's impossible to define what [group of people] really believe. If I said, "I'm a Zorgon, and all Zorgons believe anyone wearing the color blue should be flogged," how can you contest my statement? You have no standard by which you can judge a Zorgon.

You can improve your alignment by destroying Ferrengi and not attacking traders with good alignment.

oh, well I don't have a problem with this as I understand it. Looks like we were arguing with ghosts lol.

It's not a direct reference to Star Trek. It was a shot in the dark. Some fellow dweeb on here will get it and probably giggle.

Yes it is.

I feel like you need to go spend more time outside and away from the computer. You are taking things way too personally and seriously.

Good day.

And how should I take this?

I mean, you seem to know everything so I thought I would ask.

I will say that I definitely saw the humor in your post. An atheist on a Catholic forum basically telling me that I do not have my priorities right. So if you were trying to make me laugh there you succeeded.
