Job Hunt Mentality

I'm having trouble staying motivated and focussed in my job hunt. I know I need a job eventually, but I need to not be the sort of person who waits until the last minute to put her effort where someone else's money is waiting for her (to earn it). And if I don't take more initiative in the organizational/administrative things I need to do, I am going to hate my life eventually and feel depressed. I don't want to get there. God, please stir me where I need to be stirred.
