Ukrainian Catholic Catechetical Materials On The Liturgy

The following information is from the catechetical resources page of the Ukrainian Catholic Church's website for the Eparchy of St. Josaphat in Parma Ohio. The materials are a simplified presentation (for young children in the ECF program) of the differences between the modern Roman Rite and the ancient Byzantine Rite. As a Melkite Catholic I found the comparison chart interesting.

Yeah, that's what I thought about the article, too. Very interesting perspective of those outside the Latin Church.

These people obviously don't follow around the Latin Rite Catholics that attend solemn high masses.

Edit: Nor did they attend my novus ordo nuptial mass :D

Latin Church?
The Latin Church is simply that vast portion of the Catholic body which obeys the Latin patriarch, which submits to the pope, not only in papal, but also in patriarchal matters. It is thus distinguished from the Eastern Churches (whether Catholic or Schismatic), which represent the other four patriarchates (Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, Jerusalem), and any fractions broken away from them. The Latin patriarchate has always been considerably the largest. Now, since the great part of Eastern Christendom has fallen into schism, since vast new lands have been colonized, conquered or (partly) converted by Latins (America, Australia, etc.), the Latin part of the Catholic Church looms so enormous as compared with the others that many people think that everyone in communion with the pope is a Latin.

lucidly copied and pasted.

That was the point. I didn't think you would care to hear my opinion, so I gave you one I thought you might find useful.
